A tourism and hospitality marketing agency that has lived the trip
We help tourism boards, resorts, hotels, dive operators, and tour companies get found by the right travelers and turn them into direct bookings. Our founder spent fifteen years shooting for the travel and dive industry before we ever wrote a marketing plan for one, and that is the difference you feel in the work.
Travel marketing is a crowded, expensive place to be generic. The online travel agencies outspend everyone on the big terms, and a resort or a tour operator that competes with them on their ground pays commission on every booking it wins. We work the other way around: the searches your travelers type when they are deciding, the imagery that makes a place real to them, and a website and booking path that keep the sale direct. It is the same work we have done for tourism boards in Canada and Belize, dive resorts across the Caribbean, and a dive shop in Florida whose organic search traffic grew 300 percent in a year.
Destinations and tour operators, our home turf
Tourism is where we started, and it is still the work we know best. Destination campaigns for Travel Belize, Tourism Vancouver Island, Frontiers North and Travel Manitoba, lodge and resort content for Nimmo Bay and Great Bear Lodge, and years of on-location production in places most agencies have only seen in stock photos.
A destination sells a feeling before it sells a room, so tourism content marketing has to do two jobs at once: rank for the searches travelers make while they are still dreaming, and hand them a reason to book when they are ready. We plan the content around those stages, produce the photography and video ourselves, and connect it to the search and booking data so the tourism board or operator can see what the campaign brought in.
- ✓ Travel SEO and tourism content marketing
- ✓ Destination photography and video, shot by us on location
- ✓ Campaigns, social, and email built around direct bookings
More direct bookings, less commission
Every booking that comes through an online travel agency costs a resort a commission it would rather keep. The way out is not to fight the OTAs on their own terms, it is to own the searches that mean a traveler has already chosen you or your kind of place: the property name, the destination plus the experience, the questions people ask before they commit.
For a hotel or resort that means hotel SEO and local SEO for the property, a website that loads fast and books cleanly on a phone, imagery that looks like the place rather than a template, and a review and email program that brings past guests back without a middleman. We have run this for dive and nature resorts across the Caribbean and for boutique lodges in British Columbia, and resorts like Golden Rock still use the imagery we shot for them years later.
- ✓ Hotel SEO, local SEO for hotels, and Google Business Profile
- ✓ Booking-first websites, hosted and looked after by us
- ✓ Resort photography, video, and aerials
The dive world, from the inside
Our founder is an underwater photographer and filmmaker who has shot for the training agencies, the gear brands, and the resorts that make up the dive industry, and served as an outside director of marketing for Scuba Diving International. So when a dive resort or dive shop comes to us, there is no learning curve: we know how divers choose a destination, how a shop fills a class, and which searches carry a trip and which carry a certification.
For Starfish Scuba in Florida, a rebrand, a new website, photography, and SEO grew organic search traffic 300 percent in a year and turned the site into the shop's booking engine. For Atlantis Dive Resorts in the Philippines we built the digital marketing strategy, the SEO goals, and a dashboard to track all of it.
Restaurants: hospitality marketing, closer to home
The playbook that fills a resort fills a dining room. Restaurant SEO is mostly local search: a Google Business Profile that is complete and active, reviews that keep arriving, a menu and hours that Google can read, and a website that loads on a phone in the parking lot. Add photography that sells the plate and a reservations path with no friction, and a restaurant stops depending on the delivery apps and the listing sites for its next table.
If you run a restaurant in Denver or along the Front Range, our hospitality experience translates directly, and restaurant SEO is one of the least contested corners of local search right now.
- ✓ Restaurant SEO and the Google map pack
- ✓ Google Business Profile, menus, and reviews strategy
- ✓ Food and interior photography, social that sells the plate
Imagery that makes a place real, made by people who have been there
Most travel marketing agencies buy their imagery. We make ours. Our founder has photographed and filmed on assignment across the Caribbean, Central America, the Pacific, and British Columbia, above and below the water, and that library and that eye are part of every engagement. A destination page with real photographs of the real place converts differently from one built on stock, and search engines have started to notice the difference too.
When you need new imagery we shoot it, on location, with a plan for where every frame will be used: the website, the booking pages, social, email, and the press kit. One shoot, one library, every channel.
- ✓ Destination and resort photography, aerials, and underwater
- ✓ Short form video for social, long form for the website
- ✓ Content marketing that ranks for the searches travelers make

Travel and tourism SEO, hotel marketing, and the Denver connection
Drumm Media is a travel and tourism marketing agency based in Denver, Colorado, working with hospitality brands across Colorado, the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America. Our clients have included tourism boards, resorts and lodges, dive operators, and tour companies, and the thread through all of it is that we have spent as much time inside the travel industry with a camera as we have with a marketing plan.
Travel SEO is different from most search work because the customer is far away and deciding slowly. A traveler researching a trip makes dozens of searches over weeks, and a destination or a property that answers the early ones earns the booking at the end. So we build hospitality SEO around the whole journey: destination guides and experience content for the dreaming stage, comparison and planning content for the middle, and property, rates, and booking pages that are ready when the decision comes. Hotel SEO, local SEO for hotels, and vacation rental SEO all follow the same shape, with the Google Business Profile carrying the local end.
Closer to home, Denver and the Colorado mountain towns run on tourism, and the same work applies to a Front Range hotel, a mountain lodge, an outfitter, or a restaurant that lives on visitors. If you are a Colorado hospitality business, we are the agency down the road that also happens to know the wider travel industry from the inside.
Everything on this page connects to the rest of what we do: booking-first websites, SEO and AI search, content marketing, and paid advertising for the seasons that need a push. Start with a free marketing audit and we will show you where your bookings are going today.
What travel and dive clients say
Tourism and hospitality marketing questions, answered
What kinds of travel and hospitality brands do you work with?
Tourism boards and destination marketing organizations, resorts and hotels, lodges, dive resorts and dive shops, tour and charter operators, and restaurants. Most of our clients are small teams who need one partner for search, content, photography, and the website rather than four vendors.
How do you help a hotel or resort get more direct bookings?
By owning the searches that mean a traveler has already chosen you or your kind of place, fixing the booking path on the website so it works cleanly on a phone, building a review and email program that brings guests back without a middleman, and using imagery of the real property instead of stock. The OTAs still bring guests; the goal is that they stop being the only way guests find you.
Can you reach scuba divers and dive travelers specifically?
Yes. Our founder has worked inside the dive industry for fifteen years as a photographer, filmmaker, and marketing director, so we know how divers choose a destination, which searches carry a trip, and which carry a certification. Starfish Scuba and Atlantis Dive Resorts are two examples of that work.
Do you shoot photography and video on location?
Yes, it is one of the things that sets us apart. Destination, resort, aerial, and underwater photography and video, shot with a plan for where every frame will be used across the website, social, email, and press.
Do you work with restaurants?
Yes. Restaurant marketing is local search first: the Google Business Profile, reviews, a menu Google can read, and a fast website with a clean reservations path, plus photography that sells the plate. It is one of the least contested corners of local search, and the hospitality playbook translates directly.
How long until a tourism SEO program shows results?
Early movement usually shows within two to three months and meaningful gains by six, with the caveat that travel is seasonal, so we plan the content to be in place before the booking window for your high season opens rather than during it.
How is pricing structured?
On scope and deliverables, never on a quoted number of hours. Website builds are a fixed quote; SEO and content run as a monthly program sized to your goals and your season. The free audit is the fastest way to get a real number.
