The short version

You are good at what you do, and marketing was never supposed to be a second job. Professional services marketing has one purpose, which is to put your firm in front of the right client at the moment they are looking, and to make the decision easy once they find you. That takes a credible brand, a website that answers the questions clients are asking, search work that gets you found locally and in your specialty, and someone keeping all of it moving while you serve the clients you already have. We have done exactly that for a nonprofit consulting firm in Denver, an online education company, and the trades businesses that build and fix things along the Front Range.

Consultants and B2B firms

B2B marketing and SEO for consultants, advisors, and firms

For a consulting or advisory firm, the website is the pitch that happens before the call. Clients arrive already comparing you to two other firms, and what they find has to show the depth of the work, the people behind it, and the outcomes, in the first scroll. Then it has to be found in the first place, for the specialty searches your best clients type rather than the generic ones everyone loses.

Purpose Aligned is the example we point to. We created the brand and logo, built the website that brings them new clients, run their SEO, and in 2026 rebuilt the whole site by hand with every ranking page protected. The service pages grew from about 700 words to 5,700, grant writing now leads every page because that is where the demand is, and the firm reports roughly five times more new clients since the original website and SEO work.

  • ✓ B2B SEO and content built on your own search data
  • ✓ Brand, logo, and a website that makes the case before the call
  • ✓ Lead capture, email, and the follow-up that keeps you top of mind

Trades and local service businesses

Local marketing for the businesses that build and fix things

Excavation, welding, HVAC, fabrication: the trades win or lose on local search, and most of it is decided in the Google map pack before anyone visits a website. So for a trades business we start with the Google Business Profile, the reviews, and the service and town pages that Google needs to see, and we build the website to feed all of it, with the phone number and a quote form in reach on every screen.

Classic Earthworks, an excavation and fire mitigation contractor in the Colorado mountain corridor, came to us with no website and no Business Profile at all. Sixty keyword searches and twelve competitor domains shaped a sixteen page site, nine service pages and four town pages among them, with Search Console, Analytics, and the Business Profile created under the client's own account on day one. For Fox Fabrication in Denver, a rebuilt website, ads, social, and SEO turned into what the owner describes as a steady stream of phone calls from Google.

  • ✓ Google Business Profile, reviews, and the local map pack
  • ✓ Service and town pages written from the keyword data
  • ✓ A fast website with the phone and a quote form on every screen

Your outsourced marketing team

One partner instead of four vendors

Most firms our size do not need a marketing department. They need one partner who can do the strategy, build the website, run the search work, write the content, and keep the whole thing moving, and who will tell them plainly what is working and what is not. That is the role we play, whether it is a monthly program or a fractional marketing lead sitting in on your planning.

Everything ships with a record you can read: a keyword analysis done once and built on, a quarterly report on search, traffic, and inquiries written to be read in two minutes, and a website we host and look after so it keeps earning after launch. We explain the numbers in plain language and we do not report vanity metrics.

  • ✓ Strategy and a fractional marketing lead when you need one
  • ✓ Website, SEO, content, email, and ads under one roof
  • ✓ Hosting, care, and a quarterly report after launch

Professional services marketing in Denver and along the Front Range

Drumm Media is a Denver marketing agency for professional services firms and local service businesses: consultants and advisors, nonprofit and social sector firms, education companies, and the trades and contractors that serve homeowners and builders across the Front Range and the mountain corridor. We are a small senior team, and every part of the work, from the keyword analysis to the last line of code on the website, is done here rather than handed off.

Marketing for professional services comes down to trust and findability. Trust is the brand, the website, the case studies, and the writing, and it has to be earned in the first scroll because a prospective client is comparing you with two other firms in another tab. Findability is B2B SEO for the specialty searches that bring the right clients, and local SEO for the ones who need someone nearby, and both start with your own search data rather than a template. We build the plan once, protect whatever already ranks, and add the service and specialty pages that do the selling.

For the trades and local services, the work is more local still: the Google Business Profile, reviews, service and town pages, and a website that turns a search into a phone call. We set every platform account up under the client's own logins, because the data belongs to the business, and we host and look after every website we build so it keeps working after launch.

What firms and trades say

Frequently asked

Professional services marketing questions, answered

What kinds of professional services businesses do you work with?

Consultants and advisors, nonprofit and social sector firms, education and training companies, and the trades and local service businesses that serve homeowners and builders: excavation, welding and fabrication, HVAC, and similar. The common thread is an owner who is good at the work and needs a marketing partner rather than a marketing department.

Do you replace our marketing team or work alongside it?

Either. Most of our clients have no marketing staff and we run everything. Where there is an in-house person we support and train them, and a fractional CMO engagement puts a senior marketing lead in your planning without the cost of hiring one.

How do you help a firm get found for its specialty?

One keyword analysis built from your own Search Console history and a research run, which sets a target for every page and a list of anything that already ranks to protect. Then service and specialty pages with real depth, content that earns authority over time, and titles and descriptions written for the searches your best clients make.

Can you help a local business show up on Google Maps?

Yes. Local search for a service business is the Google Business Profile first, then reviews, then service and town pages the profile can point to, and a fast website with the phone and a quote form on every screen. We set the profile up under your own account with us as manager, so it stays yours.

Do you build the website too?

Yes. We design and hand-code the website, launch it search-ready with Search Console and Analytics connected, and host and look after it on a care plan afterward. If you already have a site that ranks, every existing address is mapped and protected through the rebuild.

How do you report results?

A quarterly report on search, traffic, your Business Profile, and inquiries, written in plain language to be read in two minutes, with a short list of what we would do next. We set up inquiry tracking early because a lead generation site should be measured in inquiries, not visits.

How is pricing structured?

On scope and deliverables, never on a quoted number of hours. Brand and website work is a fixed quote; SEO, content, and fractional CMO engagements run monthly and are sized to your goals. The free audit is the fastest way to get a real number.
